I remixed a song that features Brother Ali & Sadat X

DJ JS-1 - Nuthin' Feat. CL Smooth, Brother Ali, & Sadat X (Katrah-Quey Remix)

I made this beat in 2009 or so, and the song was originally released in 2009 but remixed it recently, so it has a 10 year weird history to it. Like it was meant to be at this time.

For fans of Beat Tape Shenmue, I decided to release an alternate version of this lp with all the instrumentals used for remixes (an a emcee featured track), and share 5 unreleased instrumentals that weren't selected for the final cut. Hopefully this instrumentals will inspire your next freestyle cipher, while you're doing homework, washing the dishes, playing other video games, surfing the web or to have in the background while you're building converstation on your radio/podcast show.

OLD MUSIC: Moon Blazers - Candid LP (produced by Katrah-Quey)

Right now I am jotting down my production discography for katrah-quey.com, and I just remembered that I fully produced this LP for California emcees Moon Blazers back in 2011.

It's a pretty laid-back and chill album. It isn't very rhyme heavy on a few of the tracks; you'll hear more light singing and harmonizing, blended with instrumentals and skits at the end of some tracks.
You can download it for free here at bandcamp: http://moonblazers.bandcamp.com/album/candid
